Hi guys, I have already posted another thread about my battery consumption issues and I recently figured out that my wakelocks are on just as much as the phone is on. I am good with software but I'm not very bright. So hopefully with the help of this community I will be able to solve this headache which has lasted me over a month. I have attached two screenshots for you guys to understand what I am going through. Thank you

Looks like you may have a lot of syncing going on in the background. Make sure you check those settings from the main system settings and individual app settings as well. If you're rooted, I highly recommend using Greenify. It puts selected apps into deep sleep so they don't run processes when you aren't using them and you won't have to delete or freeze them. For instance ESPN runs processes in the background when it's not being used. So before Greenfy, my only option was to deal with it or remove/freeze it. With Greenify, it can be used normally but the processes don't run. I actually apply Greenify to the majority of my apps and get great battery life. Only critical and most used apps don't get "greenified". And I keep location services and GPS on all day with no issues anymore. Great app for rooted device.

If not rooted, you definitely have to look closer at each app settings and processes.

I have tried to cut down on syncing apps but still no use and my phone is not rooted (I don't see the benefits for me doing it). I think I may have to choose 2 options, the first one being I take it to Geeksquad (My insurance) and have my phone replaced for ?60 or go to Samusng customer service near me so they can reflash it for me. I have already reset default my phone before and it has made no difference. I have attached the latest result of my battery stats below to give you guys more of an idea. Any help would be useful :).

Thanks

I looked at all sync settings. Seems like I might have to replace it for ?60 from the insurance (Geeksquad) or reflash it from Samsung I don't know which one is better. I have already posted a reply but it didn't submit for some reason. Much help would be appreciated thanks.
