The cutouts on my 3a XL align perfectly with the cutouts of the Spigen Tough Armor case. Perhaps, as others have suggested, this is only a problem with the 3a, and only with a small number of them (hopefully).

It's pre-installed on all of T-Mobile's Android phones (at least all of the ones I've purchased), regardless of manufacturer. Regardless, I've never used it and it's one of the first things I disable when setting up a new phone. Don't download anything from dodgy websites and you'll be safe.
