Will the Tab A 8 get Android 10?

The 2020 version is supposed to have a screen of 8.4 inches, unless you prefer the Galaxy tab S7.

Will the Tab A 8 get Android 10?

Re: Will t hew Tab A 8 get Android 10? Maybe we ought to start looking for a replacement Android tablet in the 7 or 8 inch size. The problem with that is most retailers only have Apple products or smartphones, and try to pass them off as "tablets." Mine is an SM-T380.

Will the Tab A 8 get Android 10?

Apparently not, since Android 10 has many advance features, like having up to 5 cBluetooth devices connected. So you either wasted the $200 on your current Tab A8, or you wull nee to go buy a new one, and spend days setting it up to be like the old one.

    Allow Mock location setting?

Yes, I think using a bluetooth GPS provider application is the alternative way to "enabling a mock GPS location" when you tap the "enable mock GPS" checkbox or option. It's just that developers are STILL starting with the Android 4.4 baseline applications, and we're way past that. In fact...

External (wired) microphone For Tab A 8

Yes, according to all; my searching and the operator's book, The Tab A 8 only has a stereo headphone jack, which only prov ide an audio output- not an input. You will need to use a Bluetooth ore USB microphone for audio input.

    Update to Camera2 API?

Is it possible to update the Samsung Tab A 8 to the camera2 API? The newer camera applications that give you better control, for long exposure, ISO, etc. need the newer API.

    clip-on Lens Kits for Tab A 8

Sorry, but I re-measured the position of the camera aperture, and it's 30mm from the end, and 60mm from the long-edge. I updated the OP. The clip I got fwith the phone lens kit only reaches about 22 or 23mm.

    clip-on Lens Kits for Tab A 8

The clip arm with the threaded hole would need to be cut and extended, which would be fine for the smaller lenses, such as the macro or wide-angle lens, which weight only a few grams, but something like a 22x telephoto lens or a 70mm wide-angle lens would need a completely different clamp to...

    clip-on Lens Kits for Tab A 8

I have a clip-on lens kit for the Android smartphone (macro, wide, and fisheye) and I use them occasionally, but a wide-angle lens for the tablet would be useful for recording video. The problem is that the clip for a smartphone only reaches about an inch or so, which might be enough for...

    Will Tab A 8 get Android 9?

That's why if you send a message to the developer of an application, the first thing they ask you is, "what kind of phone do you have?" There should be a stipulatuion on Google Play that tells you if an app is designed for a phone or a tablet.

    Will Tab A 8 get Android 9?

I have had Android 9 for many months now, but Google Play says just about every application I have "may not be compatible" which means it hasn't been updated to the Android 210 standard. What that means, IMO, is that YOU need to buy the newest Android 10 tablet!

360-degree photo of the Outside of car

I did find an app that might work. It's called Glo3D. I used the camera application to record a 360-degree video of an object, then used the Glo3D app to convert the video to an image that you can actually operate by swiping. The swiping essentially moves the video forward or back, and the...

360-degree photo of the Outside of car

Fyuse didn't work. After trying it in the house, then trying it in the yard, it did not record a 360-degree image. The best result was a blurry image of part of the object, and it did not turn complete around. It's not even compatible with a Tab A with API 28. The test device had Android 7.
