It will come down to who has the better trade-in offer... it varies from year to year but sometimes its the carriers offering $1100 for your newer model trade-in. Sometimes it was Samsung. Usually there is at least one that will.

If the iPhone Fold is real, are you going to get one? Rumor price has it in Tri-Fold territory but honestly I think the OS/app integration could be much better if they are able to basically open to iPad version in open screen and dimensions closer to Pixel Fold.

Agree. I am not disappointed in trying the Fold 7 as my first foldable. It's definitely a huge step in design (thinness) and larger outer screen over the ZF6 and only got it because the larger outer screen was much more usuable. But I think it needs an even wider larger screen. Also needs S-Pen...

I was looking forward to MagSafe on the Fold 7 but once I got it, I found it disappointing and never use it. I wanted to be able to use existing MagSafe products to try out... wallet maybe. battery packs. But I hate that they mounted the magnet so high you can't use any accessories out there...

There will be people that will buy it from initial hype. But I do agree with you and think it will be overpriced and not won't be a great seller. Far less than the Fold. Honestly I am pretty much done with the Fold7 myself after rocking it full time for about a month. It's buggier than my S23U...
