Yes , flash corrupted OTA update, flash between carriers and unlock stock Samsung firmwares, u need to Root, just clearing cache in recovery they took away because A/B partitions

Yes I've always made a habit of clearing cache partition on my Ultras after big updates and was surprised a week or so ago after our last update I couldnn't do it anymore. I thought my phone got bricked somehow until I read they took it away you can only go in there to erase the phone and make cache clearing an automatic thing Android will perform.

And this was on my S23U so it's not just one model.

When Samsung moved to A/B partitions this was going to go away , other Androids that have this A/B partitions don't have clear cache in recovery, will they bring back ADB cmd in recovery that's to be seen as other Androids have it .
