Well if it is a bloatware update than its not going to effect me too much since I tried to "turn off" any bloatware. checking the turned off apps Yellow pages says its version is 4.1.0 and Lookout is version 8.19.9-744597f. Is that the same as you?

So out of the blue I received an update today and when I looked at my phone it had already downloaded it. I didn't think we were due for an update? the build number & baseband changed from NB1 to NC1.Still says I'm running 4.4.2. Has this happened to anyone else and if so does anybody know what...

when at first there was apps frozen but then I did a factory resest and let everything be and still failed. I'm gonna wait on it a little and try again later this week. If what you are saying is true about the apps to SD than maybe KK isn't all so grand after all....

As many of you, I have received the the 4.4.2 kitkat update. I finally downloaded it and tried to install but kept failing at 26% and the phone would reboot. I am rooted and I have tried many times after removing SU and safestrap. I also tried to flash a stock rom with Odin as well but kept...

I just pushed it to my phone at around 11am EST. after every other hour mashing the "check for update" file size for me is 417mb and I'm at about 54% downloading

I use it as my daily and can't stop singing its praises to my other android friends. I just turned on the "delivery receipt" option and when I send a text it shows "sent" with a check mark underneath the actual text, while still in the text bubble, similar to an imessage.

Same problem as well for me. Anyone know what it means?

Can anyone who has 4.3 installed tell me if their is any possible way to shut off mobile data? I know that some say the toggle is gone but is it now just in the network settings or completely done away with?

Finally got it.... after forcing it..... 719MB file and its as slow as can be... but on the bright side finally got it!

That's exactly what the updated version would do to me. All work but no talk... Go into your Google Now settings > Voice > Speech output and tell me what yours is on. Mine is on "Only when informative" if its not working try setting it to always? and report back

I have the same problem on 4.2.2. I uninstalled the updated version going back to the factory installed version. I asked Google a question and it would read it out to me, fixing the problem. This was after I tried going into the settings and have speech output to "always" on the updated version...

I'm in that same boat... I keep looking at the Nexus more and more each day while I sit and wait for 4.3......
