Yes, i'm using a nano sim adapter. When I asked my provider (Virgin media in the UK) for a microsim they just send a nano sim and an adapter for micro and an adapter for standard sim. Doesn't matter then what size you need you have an adapter to fit.

I agree! Fortunately mine in the UK is short name so no issue. If you are happy to root your phone I understand that there is a way to modify or remove carrier name -much too complicated for me but plenty of Android experts on here should be able to help if you wanted to do it. Best of luck

How odd! Not really needed to turn mine off much so tried it and it just reconnected in a few seconds as you would expect but home wifi rather than 3G. I'll try in when out and about over the weekend. Looked through settings and can't see anything that may cause it. Sorry I'm no help at all.

Hi, I'm in the UK and use mine with a Virgin sim. In UK its Virgin Media. Not sure where in the world you are so 'Virgin mobile' may not be the same thing.

Ok I have found a way around it, not ideal but it works. Install the app, then ignore the pasing message. goto 'downloads', and share the file with Google drive. This uploads it. Then go to Google drive, click on the file and download it. It then installs and runs ok! What a pain. I wonder if...
