I installed the OTA update a while ago and lately my phones UI has been running slow. I used to be able to change screen brightness on the settings pull down drawer quickly. Now when I change the brightness it takes a second or two to actually change and update the icon on screen. Some Times...

100% stock, and I tried and it didn't work. Also the factory reset from Hboot didn't work either, doesn't matter, new (refurb) phone is on it's way.

Well i think this "update" has bricked my phone. I can't do a factory reset from hboot, it just reboots the phone and does the whole process again... I'm off to the verizon store now, good thing i still have my warranty and should get a new one free.

Yes i can get into Hboot, that is how i got into recovery last time. Is there some way of installing it like in this thread, but won't wipe everything? http://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-htc-rezound/197129-how-get-ics-if-you-stuck.html I really dislike having to wipe everything...

Don't know what a soft brick is, but it starts with a spinning arrow logo with a downward pointing arrow in it, then goes to the one with the exclamation point.

I just tried recovery again and it got into it this time but it shows a phone icon with a red exclamation point.

That didn't work. It did the same thing, starts up to the lock screen, then reboots after a couple seconds.

I just got the small "preparation" update (the 7mb one) and it downloaded fine, my phone rebooted and did the update and everything seemed fine, until it started up. I get to the lock screen and it's fine for a few seconds and then suddenly reboots. I can get to the menu to select recovery...

Well i can't get into recover because the phone won't even turn on! The charging light doesn't even come on when plugged in.

Our Tbolt is rooted too, I also don't believe it's the battery. I tried my Rezound's battery in the Tbolt and it still wouldn't work. (I've heard that the rezound battery works in the Tbolt, when we got the Rezound even the Verizon rep said so too.)

Ok so i've had a thunderbolt for a while, can't exactly remember how long, but me and the GF went to the verizon store and did a big switcharoo. We used her upgrade to get a Rezound and then swapped phones basically, so she has a Tbolt and i have a Rezound. Now all of a sudden the Tbolt randomly...

Pretty sure my router broadcasts in b,g, & n if it helps this is my router: WNDR3700

When i have my router set to broadcast the SSID I can connect fine. When it's set to not broadcast, my phone does not see the network and will not connect even if I add it while it's not broadcasting.

I want to connect to my home Wi-Fi network, but I don't want to broadcast the SSID. You would think they would incorporate something like this stock, but i can't seem to be able to do it.
