Another factor that is holding me back from the Thunderbolt is the 4G coverage area. I'm going to be going away to college this fall and there is no 4G coverage available now or planned for the future (Macomb, IL 61455). So I'd be getting 4G for the same price as 3G, but wouldn't even be able...

Sorry if this was asked before or if this is in the wrong section of the forums. it's a little annoying searching through pages of threads to find an answer to a question asked before. I am waiting for the Thunderbolt 4G to finally be released sometime in the next 2 weeks, just like everyone...

I don't wanna wait anymore!!! lol I might get the iPhone 4 now....

The Thunderbolt will be replacing my Motorola Cliq. VZW > T-Mo. Plus there is no T-Mo service where I'm going to college this fall, VZW is my only real choice (that has it's own data, not roaming).

Like I said before, with all the information that we've been seeing everyday, it's hard to know what's real or not. I think somethings are just a coincidence. Like that Amazon listing that was pulled that had a release date of Feb. 14. Maybe they weren't supposed to put up a date in the first...

Just called my Best Buy (Store #311 - I'm the 2nd one to pre-order out of 5 people lol) and they're sticking to their release date of February 14th. The phone call went like this: Me: "Hi, I pre-ordered the HTC Thunderbolt on Sunday and was given a release date but I can't seem to remember it...

I'll be going in this Monday to pre-order then, I'm going to be busy this Sunday (Super Bowl party). I don't think people will be rushing in on Sunday anyway lol but who knows?

Awesome. The Super Bowl ads kind of make sense, but they're trying to promote the XOOM (or at least Moto is trying to). I could see a couple of different VZW commercials though (like one for the iPhone, TB, XOOM, etc.)

It's only 10 days difference too, nbd. I prefer BB.

Will the 4G LTE Data connectivity be 'always on' (if in an area with 4G LTE coverage) or will it be able to turn off (like the EVO 4G via Sense UI widgets, etc.)
