I think I may have figured it out. Somehow my Gmail syncing was off. It could have been when I set the phone up.

It's a Gmail account. I've tried clearing the app cache and force stop. I'll see if that helps. It started out of the blue sometime yesterday. I ordered something off Amazon and didn't get their email until that syncing came up later that day.

My Gmail isn't sending individual email notifications. Instead it's doing this "syncing new mail" thing that seems random. Is this something new, and how can I change it back.

What I don't get is, every time I've returned something from Amazon, they've always had to scan the qr code for the return. Plus they don't even want it returned in a box anymore.
