I tried today with Flashtool again. It seems the new version [0.9.24.1] works with the XZ1C. I flashed my phone to another version and got the update. The best part is that I was able to keep my userdata :)

I had the Z5C and updates were OK. It's the US version that it's the problem. According to a recent email they sent me, they're aware of this issue and working to solve the problem for US customers.

No US phones are still stuck on 47.1.A.2.324. Sony doesn't care about the US market, shame.

Thanks for your answer. I tried deactivating LTE and using 3G that has a stronger signal but phone idle stays. Some people in other forums say this is because of adaptive brightness and location.

I consider the battery life of this phone to be good (6 hours screen time) but "phone idle" ghost is still there. I've been trying to research about the causes of this but I haven't gotten a very good response. I remember this didn't happen to my Z5C while on Marshmallow but it started happening...

US version too? We're getting the updates so late! Everyone else is on 374 and we're lucky to be updated to 324
