I had a Sony Compact X that was updated each month no complaints. Now I have the XZ1 and I'm still on the October update. Generally, Sony has been quite good about security patches. They must be totally understaffed. Real shame. This is my fourth Sony phone and the for software updates, the Compact XZ1 is far the worst.
