Pixel 4a vs Pixel 5, my opinion

4a is my driver. Have many other phones but limited to DS enabled for personal reasons. Using eSim and Red Pocket sim. Thinking 4a handles it better for whatever reason. Like my Sony 5 ll and OnePlus 7T 1907 which handle dual sims. Not as well as 4a imo. Have pixel 5 also....using the 4a

Pixel 4a vs Pixel 5, my opinion

Hello eric, good luck with it. Chipset synthetics are about the same. ram is double. Suspect 5G drivers need more work. That's a software thing. 3 XL is a nice phone. ram limits it. 4G ram is a little sparse nowadays. One usually notices a battery drain with increased ram, more than expected...

Pixel 4a vs Pixel 5, my opinion

Have two pixel's 5 and 4a. 5 has more ram and 5g bands....next gen chipset 4a SOC handles it's hardware better. 5 has the SOC tripped out. Don't know if its a memory stack thing or/and band search ... SD765 5g is not a bad chipset. Samsung S20 FE 5G [SD865] suffers a bit of the same thing...

    Pixel 3a(XL) Battery Life

Battery life for me is crazy good. While not a heavy hitter; have noticed around 50%+ at night. Still have to quantify usage, but comparatively this is great for me. Have used most flagships and this is the best so far. Then again, isn't this what all the compromising was about? With the...

    Pixel 3a(XL) Battery Life

No doubt. That should not have a meaningful effect on ones photo taking experience overall, for me anyway. Net viewable times may be doubled I would think. Battery rundown should be about the same.

    Pixel 3a(XL) Battery Life

".... lacks the Pixel Visual Core hardware of the Pixel 3. Google says it worked a lot on porting over features to run on Qualcomm’s Spectra ISP on the 3a, and that it was challenging - but that overall, you really shouldn’t notice much of any difference between capturing photos on a $400 Pixel...

    Sooo... Who ordered?

Giving the 3a XL a go. Put in service yesterday and so far all is good. Needs a few days to settle in but so far battery is holding up well.

No S9 active due to the Note 9?

I have the Galaxy S8 Active, damn it. Trying to utilize other phones is a problem. Pixel 2 XL, iPhone 7, Pixel...grrrrr. All, for one reason or another, can't hold a candle to the S8 Active. Battery life for one. With my usage can get almost 2 days of use. Try that with a Pixel, Pixel 2 or...

    Phone cases

Ha, a case is not needed with active line for protection. That is the whole idea for the rugged construction. I have been using S8 Active with a wallet case. This is not expensive and does the job well. Only have to bring one thing now in my pocket. Galaxy S8 Active case,Arae [Wrist Strap]...

    How's mint sim holding up.

Currently have two active lines on Mint. Central NJ near beach coverage is good. IMO it's a no-brainer, get it. T-M coverage is, of course, governing factor. but even if you signal is half-ways decent: get it. With your money saved buy a nice bottle of scotch...per month. Good Luck

Call quality with Pixel 2 XL & T-Mobile

Hello Scott, Have noticed a faint ring/ding when my calls end with Wi-Fi calling. While using this feature dialing seems to take longer along with variable volume. Generally Wi-Fi calling is great for me. So no complaints.
