My only thing with the white/clear case is that it gets that dirty grungy look to it around the sides where one would hold it most. That's the reason I usually go with a darker case or colored case. But then again I usually only get a black phone.haha might change that up with the pixel this...

What if your phone is on silent, shouldn't it play the music but not the notifications? Or you hit the volume button, and hit the settings button next to the volume, and it should let you turn the ring tones down to silent or vibrate, as well as lower system sounds while keeping the media sound...
