I forgot to add, everything worked through the procedure, except the last, where a window was supposed to pop up on phone screen where you were to select Lock.

To see if unlock would allow the phone to run off Mint Mobile rather than T-Mobile. I paid cash for phone and ran it on tmo until they said I had permission to unlock boot loader. So, that's reason why I unlocked boot loader, apparently the phone will never be allowed to run anything but tmo...
