So I see people asking about buying budget and midrange phones for as much or more than a 2 year old flagship phone. Doesn't it make more sense to buy the older beast phone than the lower spec new device? There are many great used phones out there.

The V40 is used but in excellent shape according to the seller. I guess I will try to find a lower price. Sad how the LG phones drop in value. As for the Stylo, I'm ok with whatever I get out of it.

So my second phone is a LG Stylo 4 on T-Mobile. It's pretty good for what I use it for but I know LG flagships don't hold their value and a nice V40 can be had for $150 on eBay. Sell the Stylo afterwords for $50 and I'm into the V40 for a hundred. Good plan or not?

Time for me to say hello to the V20. Picked one up for $170 on ebay. What a phone!! Hope you guys/gals enjoy the phones you move on to!

These are the type of stories i hate because they are so hard to prove one way or the other. The guy said his Jeep was a source of pride for him because he had made extensive modifications to it. I read that as something he did caused the Jeep to catch on fire, but we'll blame the phone!

I just picked up a 5.5 unlocked idol 3 from Best Buy at $150. Did the marshmallow update through the the phone itself. Love it!! Great phone at a great price!!

ZTE Zmax 2. Mine was a $59.99 like new model from ATT website. With shipping and ebay unlock code it came to about $67. That pretty well eliminates all phones until you get to the $200 range.

8 lines on att in Minneapolis and not impressed with their speed anymore. Great customer service. 40 gig shared plan, will go with T-Mobile soon.

Ordered a gold S7 Edge AT&T for the wife from Target. The $100 gift card plus the other goodies make this a great deal on a great phone!! (32 GB class 10 sd card from Microcenter at $8.99 for extra storage).

I could finally get the wife off of her iphone fix with one of these...nice stuff!!
