On my OP6 when I first got it, same issue after the update to P. It sorted itself out within 24 hours. Check your messages for anything regarding configuration or settings, I was getting those over the first day.
I have a green flash at the top, right before the AoD comes on, but I also have a perfect line of dead pixels across the top just below the notifications. Getting a replacement.
Just got a G6, coming from an honor 8. Loving the extra screen space, in almost the same size. Better battery life. higher resolution screen. Camera seems good so far. Faster data connection. Plus the water resistance and slightly easier to grip.
Apparently Honor phone manager uses Avast, so it's preloaded, not a separate one I downloaded.
I know app sandboxing is supposed to keep things from being able to cause issues, my concern comes from this behavior only triggered after the latest update. The previous version didn't cause it.
When my Honor 8 was installing the latest update to the T-Mobile app, it was flagged as containing a virus called locker-ev. Anyone else have this happen or know more?
I've been on B360 for a while in the beta, and I'm glad to see other people are having similar battery life. I can go a typical day where I don't play many games and end with about 30% battery.
The issue is it seems like Facebook's app is ignoring those restrictions. I keep finding it in my running apps even though I closed it, it's restricted from background data, and closes when the screen locks.
Facebook claims it was fixed, but the drain persisted until I disabled background data for the Facebook app. As soon as I did that, my Honor 8 was back to normal performance.
