When my Honor 8 was installing the latest update to the T-Mobile app, it was flagged as containing a virus called locker-ev. Anyone else have this happen or know more?

Apparently Honor phone manager uses Avast, so it's preloaded, not a separate one I downloaded.

I know app sandboxing is supposed to keep things from being able to cause issues, my concern comes from this behavior only triggered after the latest update. The previous version didn't cause it.

I had the same problem.

T-Mobile says its not a problem with their app. As far as they can determine, it's Avast that hasn't updated their definitions and it's getting a false positive.

Thanks, this is exactly why I was asking. I was hoping someone else in the community had seen similar behavior.
