This is great but with smart TV's I dont get why I need a Chromecast? I have apps that stream photo/video/audio files from KFHD7 to my smart TV's (e.g.Skifta) but these do not stream downloads e.g.You Tube or Netflix. OK I can stream these directly to the smart TV's but find the UI and process...

If your TV is a smart TV you dont need a cable just use a wifi streaming app such as Skifta - works great with my Panasonic

This will depend on the app, website, or function as it will with any tablet. Enlarge with pinch and pull works with many e.g. photos on KFHD. If size is a problem then perhaps a 9" or 10" tablet should be considered. I am 70 and have arthritic fingers but do not have a problem with the 7"KFHD

As I said my movies are "in hand" in the Movies folder, which is where I dragged and dropped them to from PC. To access I use ES File Explorer app from which I open "Movies" folder. I then select film to play and select "open with" VLC. Then plays (from start or last viewed).

What player are you using? I use the VLC app --so far plays anything I have tried. My movies (transferred from my PC) are in the Movies folder where I put them.

Personally dont have a problem but KFHD has a new generation touchscreen "layer" (Will be in next generation iPads) I find this more sensitive than other touchscreens I have used and took a bit of getting used to. Some people find using a "touch stylus" more precise.

I have found where to set the screen time out but the screen does not only time out the tablet switches off entirely. So to resume I have to press the on button and type in my pincode With a screen time out I would expect to resume just by touching thescreen? I would like to set screen time out...
