I'm a light user and still have 40% or so left at the end of the day. It charges quickly, even using a third party charger. Compares to just about managing a day on my old Galaxy S5.

I had no issues with mine (voice, data, SMS) when I was visiting family in Southern Ontario. I used a 7-11 SIM in the second sim slot. That's on Rogers. On one occasion (1000 islands area) my UK SIM picked up a US carrier. Rgrds F

Well, disconnecting the battery didn't work - didn't really hold out much hope. I then sent it to a repair shop that claimed to specialise in Samsung devices but they can't fix it either. I guess it's bricked - unless anyone has any ideas of anything else to try?
