That's a good point. Maybe "Read" receipts isn't turned on by default on their iPhones for RCS. I will have them check on their end. I know for sure that their carrier supports RCS because I'm getting the "Sent" and "Delivered" circles/checks where before I just got SMS.

It's a good theory but as I posted earlier, Visible moved away from the MVNO model a few months ago and is more or a straight Verizon prepaid model. All Visible subscribers had to get new SIMs in that move.

We are the only 2 who are on Visible. The others are directly on Verizon.

Good thought about trying T-Mobile with a second eSim. However, according to the info at the campground the only 2 providers who have even a whiff of signal up there are Verizon and AT&T. But maybe next time we go, one of those 2 will have a trial offer. I'll keep that in mind.
