    Heart rate monitor constantly checking

I re-paired(wiped) watch, and have declined any Google or LG Health - related permission requests, and have not had it happen since. Watch still tracks steps, but obviously I'm avoiding launching heart rate monitor. And this had been happening to mine since June. Wonder why it only started with...

    Samsung Pay and Screen Lock

I don't have a Samsung phone, so don't use Pay, but as far as the watch needing a PIN, that's sort of silly, as our watches are probably equally or less so to fall into someone else's hands (thief) as are our credit/debit cards. My S2 screen goes blank if I remain still for an extended period...

    Always on and battery consumption

I have screen brightness on 7, always-on watch face turned on, wrist gesture to wake turned off, screen time out set to 15 seconds, BT on, Wi-Fi on, and nfc off, and generally end a 16 hour day at around 50%. Have you rebooted the s2? That might help.

    Watch update?

As others have pointed out to my dismay for 6 months or so, that's how it now works when using the U2LTE via Bluetooth without an active sim. Sucks.

    Watch update?

I got the update this week, too, on Tuesday. I was hoping it would update Play Services but I'm still on 8.7.01 (2590918-534). Weather app stopped working before, and is still not working after 1.5.0.2922984.

    AW 2.0

I can't use my U2 anymore since Google took away phone call notifications on the watch if we have a BT phone headset connected to our phones. I really hope they are rethinking this in 2.0,but I guess they figure no one receives phone calls these days, and even less people receive them using a...

    Heart rate monitor constantly checking

even when it's on the kitchen counter, and the screen lock is activated. Anyone else notice this, and know how to stop it from doing it. I've disabled the Body Sensor setting in the Google Fit app on my phone, but still happening. Thanks.

Q's on data connection when multiple sources are available.

Have had the watch since November and I don't get notifications and can't check weather if I turn off BT. I see my wifi network on watch, and watch appears to connect to wifi when I look at watch wifi setting, but I'm pretty sure sure wifi is a no-go on mine. I've factory reset many times. Any...

Trick to make S Voice work better

Yes, insanely better, than replying directly to a text. Although I can no longer say "Text John Mobile", like I used to be able to (I get "SMS service not available"), if I select the person from the Buddy app, S Voice displays my spoken words almost as quickly as I speak them, and" fairly"...

    Gear S2 with Nexus 6P

I have a Nexus 5, and can no longer use Google Messenger on my Nexus if I want to reply to texts on my S2. Since 1.4, doesn't work any more. I get a "reply to text on phone message", rather than being able to reply directly from my S2. Just wanted to point this out if you're a Messenger user...

From now on, Nexus phones will come with the bloatware

I've only ever had Nexus devices (One, Galaxy Nexus, 5 and 7(2013), and even though I've been a Nexus or die, I've never even rooted any of them. During each of those device releases, HTC, Samsung LG, and Asus, all had some feature of their non-Nexus devices that I wish my Nexus had, with LG's...

    Google Fit Issues

I have the Gear Live (AW) and U2LTE, and I have the momentary occurrence where the phone data overwrites the watch but after a bit, it all gets sorted out.

Cloud Sync issue / WiFi connection

I've never touched my vpn settings on router (don't use it), but am pretty sure I've never been able to get wifi on watch to do anything other than connect. No watch notifications of any kind, also pretty sure no Google search, weather, or anything that uses data. And this is on time warner's...

Looks like the LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition will get first crack at Android Wear 2.0

I realize that this is just a preview, and I haven't tried it but watched all the videos I could find so far, and I think I'll like many of the changes. It appears that Google is all-in on this vertical design approach, so my wish isn't gonna happen, but I wish they would do swipe right for...

Looks like the LG Watch Urbane 2nd edition will get first crack at Android Wear 2.0

Thanks for answering. Very helpful. Yeah complications will probably help, but impossible to have as many complications as would probably be necessary. They have probably gone too far if we're not gonna have some sort of indicator on the ambient watch face. As for BT, to currently receive an...
