Hi,

About Watch:
Model of watch: LG Watch Urbane 3G (4741)
Android Wear version : 1.5.0.26556848
Google Play Services version: 9.0.83 (530-121911109)
Android OS version : 6.0.1

Phone :
Model number : LG V10 LG-H960A
Android version: 6.0
Android Wear number: 1.5.0.2861804.gms
Google Play Services version : 9.0.83 (440-1219111109)

What I have tried so far to resolve this issue.

On the watch:
Settings, Unpair

On the phone:

In Android Wear use the Disconnect... option.
In Android Wear, FORGET WATCH.
Settings, Bluetooth - removed
Settings, Device, Apps, select Google Play Services. Cleared cache and Cleared data.
Settings, Device, Apps, select Android Wear. Cleared cache and Cleared data.
Play Store, Apps, My apps, touch the Updated...

And still, I can't get watch working (eg. notifications) over WiFi (different tried) nor SIM data - it says connected, but no notifications are getting on the phone. Also Android Wear on phone says it is connecting...

When I try to ping watch IP over WiFi, it works, so it is connected....any ideas please?

I think you are troubleshooting the wrong devices. I am guessing it's not the watch or the phone, but the router.
Have you tried this on multiple WIFI connections or just your own? I am going to take a wild guess that if it's just happening on yours, you have a modem/router all in one combo from your internet provider. And I am guessing they have some port closed that you need to open.
But I could be wrong, this is typically the issue. Those all in one combos SUCK! Garbage!

Thank you but as I wrote, I tried that on different WiFi connections, so I don't think this is the case.

Also when I inserted SIM, Data were connected but no notifications. So it seems to be somehow linked rather with Google Cloud Sync but I don't know how to troubleshoot this....

Sorry I missed you saying that.

So it is even more confusing.

When I'm connected via WiFi only, following works :
- Google maps
- Browser from appfour (WIB)
- Find my phone (start ringing but then Couldn't ring your phone)
- Google Music, it opens on the phone...don't have subscription
- Youtube videos but don't start playing
- IFTT

Following doesn't:
- reply on Hangout
- no notifications from phone
- calls
- Google
- Spotify

Fixed, problem with enabled "filtering" VPN ! I'm ***** ! :-))
I've never touched my vpn settings on router (don't use it), but am pretty sure I've never been able to get wifi on watch to do anything other than connect. No watch notifications of any kind, also pretty sure no Google search, weather, or anything that uses data. And this is on time warner's own router and my recently purchased zoom router. Also no active sim, just normally connect via Bluetooth.
