    S20 and LDAC[Solved]

Solved!! I got LDAC working just fine. I think the key was installing Sony Music Center. Under 'Bluetooth Output Settings' I checked 'Prioritize LDAC' and 'Prioritize Audio Quality.' It didn't seem to kick in until I cycled the power on the headphones. Can anybody help me figure out how to make...

So who's returning the Pixel 5 and why?

Returned due to my disappointment with the top speaker. Otherwise, it was a nice upgrade from my P3.

    So Far, So Good. Only...

Yes, it's weird when you hold it up to your ear because it sounds buzzy and the whole screen tends to vibrate. In fact, I can feel the vibration through the phone with my hand, even with a case. Pressing it tightly to the ear dampens the vibration, but that's not completely comfortable and it's...

    So Far, So Good. Only...

I'm 5 days into the P5 and I'm on the fence. For me, the sound quality on calls is a potentially fatal issue. I don't care about speaker mode but holding it in phone mode is weird. Coming from a P3 it's the perfect size and I love everything else about it. I did a trial run with an S20 FE and...

Pixel to Samsung : what do I gain, what do I lose?

I just moved from a Pixel 3 to the S20fe and am very happy. I'm still getting used to the larger size but I think it's worth it, especially since it allows the larger battery (which, so far, is outstanding, as is the screen). I actually use it as more of a phone than a camera or game console so...

    Speakers During Phone Call

I've noticed lately that I only get sound out of the bottom speaker when I'm on a call, although both speakers work when I play music. Is that the way it's supposed to be? Thanks.

    Android System using 30% battery

I found a suggestion on another couple threads, which is to disable Google's Backup My Data under Settings>Backup and Reset. It's been reported as a known bug that interferes with Doze. I've only tried it for one night but the phone started dozing again as soon as I disabled backup.

    battery drain question

Thanks. I have installed GSAM and will post something in a few days. I think the Bosch app only communicates when I open it up. The t-stat doesn't need the phone app to operate. I have a pretty bullet-proof cell signal because I have Verizon's 4gLTE network extender.

    Android System using 30% battery

I should have looked at this thread before I posted separately ... same problem here. Factory Reset fixes battery life but only temporarily (couple weeks, usually).

    battery drain question

My S7 has great battery life after a factory reset but after awhile (couple weeks or so) I get much worse battery performance. One issue I've noticed is that it doesn't doze. Last night for example it went to bed at 100% and dropped to 90% by morning, with 'cell standby' showing up as the...

How to fix VZW Galaxy s7 battery life

The screen shot you posted shows that the phone isn't dozing. Maybe that's just because the data are for daytime hours, but my S7 occasionally experiences doze problems (even overnight) and sub-normal battery performance. Try a cache partition wipe first and if that doesn't work try a full...

    Cell Standby and Doze

All of a sudden I'm finding that the phone won't doze overnight and that I generally experience faster overall battery drain. When I look at the battery options graph it's showing Cell Standby using 51% of battery over about 10 hours, after a full charge and at night when it should definitely be...

    Signal booster for S7

I have the new LTE Network Extender in my house and it's awesome. Full LTE bars everywhere in the house which let's me use HD calling, etc. No interference with other networked equipment and a big upgrade over the older 3g extender.

Should I, a 3G Network Extender owner, get a 4G LTE Network Extender?

It's not a question of whether your phones are 4G but whether they have Advanced Calling capability. Advanced Calling uses the LTE band for both voice and data, whereas most 4G phones use LTE for data but revert back to the original CDMA band for voice (mine would revert to 1x in the status bar...
