What's up people? New to the site and trying to learn as much as I can. Just rooted my HTC Vivid. Running stock ICS and Sense 3.6. Any suggestions as far as roms, apps, etc?

You can't root through the HTCDev website. Find your phone on this site and find a thread pertaining to rooting your phone specifically. Not sure what phone you have, it just says HTC 4g but find your phone under devices and you'll find the easiest way to root.

Bricked my phone by not reflashing the kernal after root. Finally found an image and rom that seems to be the original from att, unbricked my phone, but now my wifi will not turn on. Mobile network works fine but can not connect to personal network. Any ideas?

Having trouble relocking my bootloader. Need some noob instructions! ANYBODY!

As it says, I was using "Hasoon2000's HTC Vivid All-In-One kit". I managed to root and then attempted to flash the hotcakes kernal that is available in the kit. In doing so my phone rebooted and now is frozen on the HTC white screen. REALLY NEED SOME HELP!!!

Figured it out! It turned out to be the drivers. Thanks for the help anyways!

In the process of trying to unlock the bootloader for my HTC Vivid and i have come to a dead end. I have gone through the process following the HTCDev websites instructions but after I Type in Command Prompt: fastboot oem get_identifier_token. all i ger is "waiting for device..." Anybody have...
