Judging by the lack of response I suspect most who have replaced their Moto E have probably left this forum as well.

I just want to confirm that I can't add any more memory to this phone. I've moved what I can to the sd card, and deleted and disabled apps. Next step might just be to get a new phone or root this thing to delete more G apps I don't use.

I have all the feeds turned off, yet I still get feeds from news sources. Unfortuantly there seems no way to even disable this app. Of course, you can't delete it, since they use the old MS argument that it's part of the OS.

You don't mention your previous software. Sounds like you are using Google, which means when you you sign in your contacts in Gmail and the phone should be synced and you don't have to do anything. Personally I'd do all my contact work on the PC as it's just easier for me. Regarding...
