I have double tap to wake on galaxy s10+. It works flawless on it. Do not know of something for double tap sleep though.

In QuickStar you move the clock, and shut off clock, icons in Staus bar.

My first was a BlackBerry then moved over to a samsung s10+.

You can change it to only update over WiFi. Or you can say never update in the google play store settings.
