The liquid protector will allow the FPS to work but doesn't offer much protection. Some do include insurance against breakage.

Thanks. I dropped my s9 multiple times and had no issues. I think I have seen some with the insurance offered.

I am using an anti scratch tpu guard got installed from local shopkeeper here In India for 2$. Never misses my finger print scan. Touch has same response and my phone is safe. Have been using same screen guard on my phones and no issue ever. In fact I dropped my s10plus once since I got whole phone done. It saved my phone from any scuffs even though it impacted concrete. So pretty happy .

I would buy one but hate the Edge and for whatever reason I don't feel like spending $50.

Finally purchased a liquid protector and applied it. Had forgotten how much brighter the screen looks. I got one from Qmadix with $250 insurance. FP is working fine so far. Didn't need to re-register.

Correct me if im wrong, a screen protector will not prevent the screen from breaking. A high impact will break any glass screen, since the protectors cant absorb the shock from impact. But they will prevent scratches and such. Cases will absorb the shock from impact. I have the note 8, havent used a screen protector since my note 3. My wife has the note 10+, high impact case (otterbox commuter), no screen protector she specifically told me to not buy an otterbox defender case. My note 8 is almost 2 years old. Literally only minor scratches.

It depends on the impact...... A screen protector can prevent the screen from breaking but not in all cases. that's even true of the plastic ones but the glass ones generally offer more breakage protection.

You cannot remove. This one states to reapply after 18 months.

I've never heard this, I can't imagine changing it every quarter at 60 bucks a pop.

Yeah I've watched several reviews on films of different kinds and while I'm still using the stock protector, outdoor season is upon us. I've never really been one for a screen protector but after that one incident I'm not sure my confidence is just there yet. I don't even want to say that I've been overly careful, I guess just fortunate. One drop on a phone that I had years ago got me started on cases. Now I wouldn't think of not having one and it really didn't do that much noticeable damage. LOL

Anyone tried Belkin Invisiglass Protector for S10 Plus?

I bought Belkin Invisiglass screen protector, the feel is close to touching glass but it does pick up smudges quite easily.

I did face an issue, the FPS does work after re registering finger prints but the FPS is slow to respond. After about 2 days I removed Belkin's Invisiglass protector.

Well I'm still on stock but I'm starting to notice the small surface scratches that I've heard people talking about forever ago but only when the screen is off. If it's lit I'm not noticing anything. Haven't watched many reviews lately to see if anyone has something to compete with Dome Glass but I figured when there is a competitor word will spread pretty fast. Especially if they come in under $70.

After the pre-installed protector gathered sufficient scratches, and switched to an IQ Shield LiquidSkin, which is a wet-apply plastic protector.

On the plus side, it is easy to apply straight and without bubbles or dust. It is clear and looks great. My FPS works much, much better now. And it was inexpensive.

But, it has that rubbery feel that wet-apply protectors have. I don't like the feel very much, but the massive improvement in the FPS makes me so happy, I can overlook that.

I used the factory preinstalled one for quite a while. It got scratched up and I was ready for a change, so I put on a Zagg InvisibleShield last night, and it's already feeling 10000x better. Last week, I also started using the Samsung LED flip case too and really like the extra protection the provides the screen.

I prefer tempered glass. Should get a white Stone dome but don't want to pay that much for a screen protector
