For those who do not know, Google Play System is not the same as the Play Store. Play System updates include critical updates to enhance the functionality and security of Android systems. It's important that you check for updates each month as they generally don't happen automatically.

I think that what you downloaded was the latest security update (there is normally one each month and there have been 3 so far). Your Flip 7 came with One UI 8.0 already pre -installed when you got it.

Removing a good properly fitting case is always hard! Try using a hair dryer (on a low setting) to help loosed the glue from the adhesive strips that were on the case and very carefully pry one corner of the case.

I get the orange dot when I wake the cover screen (I don't use AOD). Don't know the setting as it just came over when I transferred everything from my Flip 6. Sorry.

After you select your apps for the launcher in Multistar, click on the phrase "Enable Launcher Widget" at the top of that page. It's not obvious that this activates the Launcher, it just looks like a heading! Also, you do get the Launcher as a widget page in your cover screen you may have to...

My Flip 7 just arrived and yes, it fits easily in the belt pouch that I have been using for my Flip 6 (and the 3, 4, and 5 before it!). The phone is a little bit thinner and slightly wider than the 6, but not much difference so it easily fits in the pouch!

I have used the same belt pouch for the Flip 3, 4, 5, and 6. UPS says that my Flip 7 will arrive later today. So, I'll let you know then if the same pouch works!

On its way. UPS estimates delivery on Thursday. I also received my return label (via email from Samsung) for my trade in. The new phone is coming via UPS and trade is going back via FedEx. That's the same procedure they used for the last couple of years. I'm sure that is based on the separate...

As someone who makes frequent online purchases, I know that shipping labels are often created by the shipper (Samsung in this case) several days before actually giving the package to UPS/FedEx/DHL etc. It's very common and just part of their shipping prep.

We'll let you know when we actually have the phone in hand. I had the Flip 3, 4, 5, and 6. The crease was a little better on each one. That said, the crease has never really bothered me. I don't even notice it in my daily use.

Got it yesterday. There is also a Google Play system update so be sure that you do that as well. (The Google Play system will still show April 1, after the update.)
