My phone is stuck in the set up phase after a factory reset probably due to corruption. I cannot access the settings and therefore can't check the firmware version the phone came with even though I need to know this in order to flash the firmware? Or do I? I'm getting so confused- I've read so...

I went ahead and attempted to flash my LG with the LG flash tool, and stuck to making sure I did everything exactly right. I even used a newly purchased USB cord. However, Flash Tool still gives a 'could not connect to server try again later' error along with something about the correct info...
