Skype works for me but not with video , you need to clear the data from the Apps and when you are asked (the second time if you want video you choose no and it works)
Did you figure it out how to install Android Market?
I installed from a APK file but when I try to download an app I get :
The application Market ( process com,adroid.vending ) has stopped undexpectedly.
