I understand where you're coming from. OIS for the main sensor is a must. Ultra wide angle lenses don't benefit in the same way.

FYI. The ultra wide angle lens doesn’t need stabilisation. It’s so wide it’s not needed/as important. Same in some of my dslr super wide lenses. As far as I’m aware, the hardware is pretty much final. Software. LG are definitely working on an update prior to release.

A little trick with the G5 which should work with the G6. Go to manual mode, and don't change anything. Night mode doesn't get activated so the shutter speed should be faster in dimmer conditions.
