Specs have nothing to do with Apple products. They know how to make their OS run minimalistic. If you've never had an Apple product, you'd be shocked at how well they run and how stable they are with smaller processors and less RAM.
I'm an Android and iOS fan, and I agree completely. They put less RAM in there, but they still run smoother than most Android phones out there with double or triple the RAM. They are buttery smooth and fluid, so I don't care what people say about them being low-specced. It's all about the overall experience. People said the same thing about the Moto X last year, and it ran like a champ. It's all about optimizing the OS to run on that hardware, and Apple has that down. I'm on a Nexus 5 right now, and it's down to the 6 Plus, Note 4, Moto X, and hopefully Nexus X before I make up my mind on my next phone.
