I saw the s5 for 168.47 today at my local Sam's. Made me rethink if it was worth having for the last week it save 30$ I'll bet the price has gone down more than that by September.

I changed my lock screen wallpaper to a live wallpaper, and now it shows a lock symbol with an expanding circle as you pull your finger away from where you first touch the screen.

I wasn't impressed with the white in store models. I LOVE the way the black cover feels, almost makes me want to not use a case.

I turned mine on with 62% as it came in the box. Played with it for about an hour and a half screen on time, WiFi on, but not cell or other wireless, and I'm at 46% now I tried doing thumbprints sideways, and it picked up about 40% of the test swipes, which I don't think will translate well to...

Sounds about the same as mine. Mine was UPS though. Also no signature required. The delivery box is significantly larger than the phone box, which is rather compact.

Mine was delivered around the same time as OP.... Ironically, before turning on the phone, I checked the SAR data on the samsung website (found the link in the manual). It's rated way lower than GSMarena listed, which makes me a lot happier :) Also, it looks like the settings menu has tripled...

I think I'm going to change mine.... Thinking of the GPe launcher. I used go launcher way back, and I think I tried nova before as well. I think when I get bored over spring break, I will try out some different ones, and maybe mess with the lock screen too.

+1 to above. Mine read 10.54 gigs. I disabled some apps, and got it up to 11gb.

I don't have any first hand experience, so take all I say with a grain of salt, but I did quite a bit of research on this very topic. Most places I have read (forum posts) say that extra distance from a case shouldn't greatly effect it. What worries me is if I have a metal case on the phone...

I wouldn't take the phone past the one meter it is rated for. Hydrostatic pressure is a pretty powerful force. Also, salt water leaves behind salt when it evaporates, and salt can mess with electronics if it is bridging any contacts. But yes, the videos would be absolutely stunning!
