AT&T Galaxy S5 just delivered!

Sounds about the same as mine. Mine was UPS though. Also no signature required. The delivery box is significantly larger than the phone box, which is rather compact.

I was a bit surprised by the size of the box. I'm used to getting boxes that aren't much bigger than the box the phone comes in. The iPhone and Nexus 5 etc both used compact boxes that would easily fit in a mailbox.

I may be wrong, I was thinking the option for "smart network switch" was the same thing... It uses both wifi and mobile so you don't lose connection

Yeah not the same thing. Download booster uses both simultaneously as a bonded connection to add more bandwidth to increase download speeds.

Does yours have a lot of bloat?

The usual ATT and Samsung bloat. I was able to disable some of it and freed up a little space.

I also noticed when I downloaded some apps that some of them would automatically move some app data to the SD card automatically. Not sure if that is something that was added with KK or some Touchwiz feature.

Weird question: how big is the box that it was delivered in. Did it fit in the mailbox? Just trying to figure out if I am going to hassle the office people

Mines came in the same big box as well. 9x8x5!

How is the smoothness of the phone in whole? Especially when changing from apps like YouTube to the internet(lag, hang ups)

Just measured my box: 9x5.5x4.5

To those above, mine seems very quick and snappy, better than the iPhone 4s I have in my other hand. The browser scrolling seems a bit jerky, but launcher and app drawer is quick. Disabling some bloatware freed up half a gig of space.

Edit: mine came ups from dallas, may explain different box size

Is that the stock browser or Chrome?

hows the battery doing on the phone...and did you try a 1 handed thumb fingerprint read again?

I turned mine on with 62% as it came in the box. Played with it for about an hour and a half screen on time, WiFi on, but not cell or other wireless, and I'm at 46% now

I tried doing thumbprints sideways, and it picked up about 40% of the test swipes, which I don't think will translate well to real world one handed usage.

Same here. Difficult to do the swipes one handed. Grrrr... My hands are small too lol. How did you free up some bloatware?

damn i was looking forward to a quick 1 handed fingerprint unlock oh well

My understanding is the fingerprint scanner really only works reliably (use the term loosely) with a finger swipe from 12 to 6. So unless you have severe arthritis and your fingers are crooked, a one handed unlock is not gonna be real easy.

Re: AT&T S5 just delivered!

I can't wait to try to use that finger scanner one handed. That's the one thing I wasn't able to try at Best Buy that I'm really looking forward to.

no 1 handed fingerprint is a huge disappointment

The issue I'm having trying to set it up one handed is it wants your finger completely flat and pretty much completely vertical. I'm going to keep messing with it tonight and see if I can get it to work.

Oh so I guess the fingerprint scanner is not that easy to use. Bummer.

Watch this video. Looks like when you setup the scanner you can swipe your finger in a horizontal manner in a vertical motion, simulating a one handed fingerswipe, per se.

How is the camera sensor in low light conditions? Is the camera able to change the exposure(right photography term?) from bright to dark areas?

I assume this can be disabled if you want to use the PIN? I had this on my Atrix (so long ago lol!) and felt it was a gimmick. I have gotten use to using my moto x with my pebble so it say unlocked as long as my pebble is connected...I am getting spoiled!
