I have a HTPC, a Roku, and a Seagate box - and don't see myself getting rid of them real soon - - but STILL prefer my Chromecast when watching YouTube. And I would not be surprised if, in the next year, the Chromecast will get many apps and possibly do away with one or more of my current boxes...

I really love my chromecast - great for YouTube and Netflix! Also can cast from my chrome browser on my PC. BUT - my PC is 2 rooms and 60ft away from the TV in the living room. And there doesn't seem to be a way to control the cast video after it is started - except to run back and forth...
