I've found out the secret to optimum Galaxy s5 speed. If you root your phone, install greenify and titanium backup, then disable Touchwiz launcher and keyboard, your phone is almost nexus like. Also, installing ART helps out even more. Give it a try and see how it works for you!

I managed to completely change the notification theme on my galaxy s5 using an Xposed framework module called Wanam Xposed. I could change everything but this. It's driving me crazy (see picture). All help with this that I could get would be incredibly helpful!

Clear the dalvik cache and do a complete factory reset, as recommended with cyanogenmod roms. Once that is done, try to install it again

This isn't so much a question as it is a brainstorming/opinion topic. How do you think android L and touchwiz will mix? Do you think Samsung will tone touchwiz down in support of this new software? Leave your opinions. I want to know what others think.

Thank you. The problem, however is that the cyanogenmod messaging app has the same name as my default galaxy s5 messages app, therefor it won't write or install. I will try that. Thanks for the help

Have a galaxy s5 g900h (exynos) and I bought it brand new out of the box. It's never had an update, even though there is one due for it (last 4 letters of kernel name are ANCI) any help or suggestions on getting this much needed update?

When I remove the micro SD from my galaxy s5, it shuts off and starts up much quicker than it does with it. Any reason? Are there differences with speed with micro SD cards?
