Is it safe to delete the default messages app with the international galaxy s5? I'm rooted and all, but I don't know if it will irreversibly break my software

You can freeze it with Titanium Backup or ROM Toolbox. That way if it does cause problems you can just defrost it and your back to normal.

Thank you. The problem, however is that the cyanogenmod messaging app has the same name as my default galaxy s5 messages app, therefor it won't write or install. I will try that. Thanks for the help

I deleted stock messaging app with titanium backup. Can anyone tell me how to get it back because I didn't have it backed up please help!
