I have found the same. Haven't tweaked settings yet, but finding I'm OK with battery by charging to 100% before bed, then recharging after waking up.

Made my day yesterday when I just happened to see the add-on back up! Tested last night, and seems to work ok. Still used a lot of battery, but will fiddle with it tonight.

After spending a bunch of time looking, I'm finding a few acceptable faces. Unfortunately, it seems even with the ones I like, I always find something I wish was different. Bought one face for 2$ and though I really like the face the charging clock is super annoying, and the always on...

I guess I'm just not impressed with most. Let me rephrase, there isn't an abundance of faces I find useable. To each their own.
