Geesh….I'm still using an S6 Edge version 5.0.2 LOL (Checked today - No software update - thanks AT & T!) Lesson learned. I don't think I will ever buy an android phone under AT&T. :(

Do you think the new update (whenever that will happen) will fix the battery drainage issue?

I may give Google Play another try since not being able to download apps is not fun LOL What do I need to do to make sure that my google account does not sync everything? Better yet, where on my S6 Edge do I need to go - to make sure they do not sync?

Well I did a factory reset and now the battery is not draining like before. The only thing I did was sign up for Google Play (originally when the battery started draining) and didn't even download any apps from it when the trouble started. So now, with the reset, I no longer can get into...

hi erasat, How do I wipe the cache partition - please help :) I want to try your suggestion of uninstalling updates & disabling ANT + apps. Also, disabling or force stopping these ANT- apps - will this affect my phone in any way (affect apps, music streaming, etc) Thank you in advance!

Glad you like your screen protector keith molloy I used mine without the gel - and worked out well too - so I guess it's just your preference. The bubbles will go away, and the first couple of days you're going to touch the screen and feel the "gel-ly mushiness" (lol) and you may worry - but...

So factory reset may just do the trick then right? How long did it take to reset? Battery is still draining like crazy. Just recharged - turned on the phone and it went to 99%. Then literally about 10 minutes later, 98%. This is ridiculous……. :'(
