I take it you are running an older version of Android? ICS and above has this information built in now.
At the time Traffic Stats did exactly what I wanted (I believe it can actually be set to monitor mobile data only) - There are a few other apps in the store now which also do the same thing...
Is there a thread on the Google Android support site for this issue?
The Nexus S had a similar problem at launch (Random reboots especially during calls) which took a lot of users complaining and an update before it was finally fixed.
I came across this thread while deciding if I should...
The new market still has the Vodafone section instead of my Apps though...
It must be detecting the network rather than the Vodafone sim, because I noticed it reverted to normal on a recent trip to Japan when I was mostly on the Softbank network.
I use both apps for more than just to "locate my phone".
Wavesecure sends a text to your specified alternative numbers (e.g. your wife's) if someone has changed the sim card - this not only lets you know they have done that, but it also tells you the new number. Wavesecure also locks down the...

Until today I used both.
I was grandfathered in with Wavesecure - As a beta tester, we got the premium account for free for life. I was a tad concerned when McAfee bought it, but they honoured the free premium account and all was okay. I've never had to use it to lock my phone, but I like...
My Nexus S (purchased from CPW with a VodafoneUK sim) is showing that Google Books is an available update in the market, but if I tap on it it says that it's not available (like what usually happens if you click a link to something that is not available in your country).
Edit: After re-reading...
Works on the UK Sim-free version from Carphone Warehouse. I'm guessing it won't work on the UK Vodafone version - the UK Vodafone Nexus One is still on 2.2.1 :-[
(Note: By Vodafone - I mean the phone bought from Vodafone, not using a Vodafone SIM :) )
Push notifications recently started working for me... but now Facebook seems to cain my battery. Right now on my Nexus S, after 7 hours unplugged it is the top user at 30% (even display is only 25%).
