    Network- turn off 3G - limit to EDGE

    This is a GSM phone so I wouldn't think a CDMA setting would help. THanks though. I see several apps out there on the market but with really varying degrees of ratings. Wondering if anyone had a good experience with one that worked on a Captivate to toggle between 2G and 3G.

    Network- turn off 3G - limit to EDGE

    I have an AT&T Captivate. Having trouble with signal strength on 3G. Seems to keep good signal strength when in EDGE mode. I live at hairy edge of 3G coverage and phone goes in and out of it. Any reccomendations on an APP or Widget to turn off 3G and force phone to stay in EDGE mode?

    I have an AT&T Captivate. I am finding that I get notifications for text messages and voice mails which I do not hear. When I go and check the Notification Ringer Volume is down to about 20% or so. Call ringer stays up. I must have set the notification volume back up a hundred times and an hour...
