    I went ahead and bought a G5 thinking it would be better. It's not. Has the same drops as the G4. So, if you rely on it like I do, same issue.

    Did I ever say I did? It's a great phone, but let's get to it, it's not getting MM here in the US. What would be the point anyhow, it would just leave users even more ticked off that they aren't getting N since it's so close to release.

    Root will not affect a factory reset. Do you want to unroot it and get it all back to factory specs? Take a peek over at XDA and follow directions. If you are a complete noob, read, reread, and read again.

    Do another factory reset, and don't reinstall all of the apps that were there before. Something is coming back. In fact, don't install any apps after reset and see how it acts. And don't forget to format all storage.
