Notifications show up and phone still vibrates. Notification led still works

Thanks B Diddy! Yes everything turned up, cleared cache on phone and reinstalled a few apps with no luck. Logic says I screwed it up as was working fine before but weird that calling and music still work.

So I think I may have messed up my phone but does seem more like a software issue. I took phone apart to replace charging port and add a new back cover. I now have no notification sounds from any apps. text, email, alarm clock etc. Speakers are working as I hear incoming calls and can play...
