Great tip. Did not know that. Unfortunately the app is not there. It seems, according to other threads, that the messages watch app only shows if it's paired to a Samsung phone. I haven't found another watch app that serves that purpose.

Yes, that I have done. It does not solve the main problem of not having a texting app on my watch. One can respond, but not initiate. And, the alerts see to be not 100%.

Likely, your car stereo does not support media streaming. Only very recently have car manufacturers included media streaming over bluetooth in their stereos. Look at your car manual or stereo manual if it is aftermarket.
