Happened to me too, exactly the same issue. It's the battery that's malfunctioning - it might be swollen as well. Replace the battery and I bet the phone will stop switching itself off. I solved the problem with a new battery in fact.

It's a bit unfair to blame Samsung in this case... a phone that's not water-proof dropped in water through your own fault,... you were lucky you got it working for a month. No one will repair a phone that's got water damage under warranty, not even Apple. The fault you are experiencing now...

I'm not an expert but I read that uninstalling apps that came with the phone will cause it to malfunction. I wouldn't attempt to do it again. I think if you flash a custom ROM then all the bloatware will have been removed already.
