I do have a couple of weeks left on warranty. I did contact them earlier but I hesitated to do a replacement because it was a refurb unit. I thought it might be better to deal with my known demons than get a new set of unknowns. Do you guys think it's still worth getting a refurb replacement?

This happens to me sometimes when I use the "Go SMS Pro" messaging app. The only way I found to fix the problem is to restart the phone. I disabled the popup notifications from it, and it hasn't happened since. I think Sense 4.0 doesn't play well with some apps that do notifications or popups...

NFC requires extra hardware, so Jelly Bean on the One S still won't have it.

It's not 100% clear that One S devices will get a Jelly Bean upgrade. HTC just said they "don't yet have an announcement". Maybe they won't upgrade to Jelly Bean until their next line of HTC Two phones :\

This forum seems rather calm to me after the update. Did a lot of you guys get your issues resolved? On the T-Mobile support forums people still seem to be riled up over issues. Just wanted to start a thread here where people can comment on what issues people still have after the OTA update...

I know GPS will heat up the phone, but on the One S it seems to be significantly hotter than the iPhone 3GS I recently switched from. On the One S it's about at the point where I'm concerned that my phone shouldn't get that hot.. I'll d/l the app later tonight and try it out. Thanks.

I've used the GPS navigation a few times now for various length trips (10 mins, 30 mins, 4 hrs) and noticed that the phone gets REALLY hot from having the GPS on. Is this normal with everybody else's phone also? Kind of disappointing.. On a related note, is there a good app for reporting...
