4K videos being saved to internal storage has been a Samsung thing for a while. A waste really, specially if you got an SD card that's rated for 4K video recording.
As for incompatibility issues, do you need your videos to be in H.264? HEVC is plenty smooth enough if you install it to your PC.
It clearly didn't help that the exact cause was how power hungry and inefficient the Snapdragon 808 was. No wonder Samsung went with their own silicon in 2016 with the S6 series lol.
That being said, it'd be nice to pick up a good condition V10 somewhere. Would be a nice little companion to...
Part of me thinks it's due to Samsung hiding the IR sensor a bit better on the S9. The S8 had that sensor a bit more opaque behind a blueish cutout whereas the S9 darkened the cutout to have it stand out less, which makes the phone look even cleaner imho
A bit off-topic but fun fact: if you run your finger on your camera lens and feel a weird indentation effect near the center, it's because the little border near where the sensor is located isn't just some weird plastic cutout under the glass, it's right on the glass
Yeah, the S9 and S9+ come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Any updates you'll receive for now will likely be monthly security updates, with the exception of the unlocked model, which seems to be on a more quarterly schedule.
Best bet is to see if your phone isn't having wireless charging issues. Visit a shop like Best Buy that has a Samsung table with Samsung phones and try out the fast wireless charger that's guaranteed to be there. If it shows up as fast wireless charging, then your phone's working fine. If it...
I mix my usage between Assistant and Bixby and I usually resort to using Bixby if I need to do something very device specific. Otherwise I go with Google Assistant.
That being said, I've had a much better experience with Bixby Vision compared to Google Lens, which either doesn't recognize an...
The funny thing is despite the S9 and S9+ being above the recommended specs for Fortnite, it's still relatively unplayable on a buddy's S9+ and my own S9. Might as well just go with mobile PUBG or play Fortnite on my PC, xbone, or switch.
Considerations were the Pixel 2 XL, which I decided against as I figured having to switch a dongle around to different headphones isn't exactly idea., an LG G7 which had a nice boombox feature that I didn't really care for too much and wasn't sold unlocked anywhere nearby, and the Huawei P20...
Has to be your charger. My official Samsung branded fast wireless charging stand, pad, and convertible don't exhibit this issue. Haven't tested other chargers though.
My S9 lasts me pretty much a day on a work day though I'm barely on my phone at all during a shift and it's either set aside or in my pocket until the end of the day. Other days it usually either needs a charge around late afternoon since I'm using it a lot but I've made it a habit to just keep...
This is more or less my interpretation of photography basics summed up to the important stuff. Might help or might not but here since no one in this thread has done anything of the sort yet:
ISO is basically the brightness of a camera you can adjust. Ramping up ISO can be a good thing...
The included AKG tuned earbuds that came with my S9 are actually very nice for included headphones in the box as well as dual-driver buds, though they're not going to blow away anything like any of 1MORE's dual or triple driver in-ears. Fit will be somewhat finicky depending on your ear canals...
