Mine has a ton of scratches on the screen. I suspect that my interactions with my beagle are largely responsible, but the scratches are very noticeable in the light. You don't have to use a disabler app. You can use the Samsung Internet app. This is where I found the info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kxiB6ucj8Y To be honest, I wasn't very impressed with the quality of Youtube videos through the Samsung Internet app, however. I haven't tried that many.

I don't always use headphones with Gear VR, but I haven't noticed an extra battery drain while using Gear VR. I have the S7 Edge. There are problems with some VR apps when you use Bluetooth headphones, though. The audio will clip in and out. It doesn't happen on all apps, but it happens on...

I still haven't tried the social apps. The concept still seems a little weird to me. I suspect you're right, though. Those apps probably will be very important in the future.

No it doesn't. I've got a Spigen case. It's pretty thin, but I have to remove it to use the Gear VR. That annoyed me at first, but now I'm use to it.

I had some trouble with accidentally activating the edge when it was on the right side of the screen. I solved the problem by moving it to the left side of the screen. I never swipe from the left unless I'm trying to open the Edge. Posted via the Android Central App
