Calling pie anything other than a downgrade with respect to the split screen and recents features is pure hucksterism.

Two additional problems since pie: 1. Poor battery life. 2. In contacts, the alpha listing only pops up once you start to scroll down and I can't select a letter without using the pen.

That lack of choice is bothersome. I, too, rolled back Windows 10 because too much hardware would not work.

What you described would more closely parallel an app which no longer works on a given platform. If YouTube stops working on Apples due to a change in YouTube, Apple users could not complain to Apple. However, if it's due to a change in Apple's OS, they could scream bloody murder.

That's no different from the software in other computers.

To be clear, I solved the Play Store ads problem by disabling or removing all Google apps. No problem since then. And I see that Samsung is allowing support to remap the Bixby button. I'd like a full uninstall of it but this is progress.

The phone wasn't free in December when purchased before being downgraded.

Samsung is a joke of a company. I spent hours with support and doing my own research to finally find bxActions. And all they had to do was allow support staff to be honest. FYI, I wanted to remove Bixby. Support helped all they were allowed and bxActions remapped the button.

Hey, I skipped Vista and Windows 10. Those weren't upgrades to me. Pie was a downgrade for me.
